Technology has engraved a lot part of the world, where in hand involvement of students is prominent factor. Today human civilization has moved a lot ahead in terms of technical development. Digitization of working environment and data plays vital role in all sector. Building of robots with human interface, making nonliving things talk and other such has been one of key achievement of the world. These technologies are the future. Hence, preparing each one of us for upcoming technical era is important. When it comes to Nepal, we do not see much changes. Regarding these, technical students get less opportunity and hence are compelled to fly abroad. For the cause, World Merit Pokhara has come up with in hand workshop and talk program. It’s an immense pleasure to introduce ourselves as World Merit Pokhara, a youth lead charity organization working on United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals along with other social economic aspects. We are a network of people rising up to tackle the most pressing issues that our world is facing by connecting online to learn from each other and make impact in the real world. We aim to build confidence and raise aspirations. We want to be a force for social mobility and a source of hope. We award opportunities to those individuals who take action to make their local communities better. We connect passionate people with the skills and experience they need to prosper in a field that they identify with. We came up with a Talk program and workshop series on the topic “Unfolding Chapters”. It included workshop on future technologies such as IoT, Machine Learning, Cloud computing, session on entrepreneurship and SDGs and also, inspirational talks from those who have struggled on the field and now are in prominent position. We had speakers from different organization with all level of expertise. Besides, we believe this program enhances the expertise and hope of enrolled students to discover their self-ability in the mentioned technological areas which is only possible with the full support from college administration, family and mentors. Furthermore, this helps in achieving the Global Goals of sustainable development together and for a good reason. Hence, we collaborated with multiple institutions and the scholars enrolled to make bigger impacts with small acts. Together we can bring change in society! Goals and Objectives: There are four major goals of the event we wish to fulfill: #Goal 1: To make students familiar with future technologies #Goal 2: To visualize them with real life application of such technologies #Goal 3: To familiarize students with 17 SDGs and role of youth in it #Goal 4: To introduce students to Social entrepreneurship and highlight its importance Topics General topics of the event will basically be focused on above mentioned goals: 1.
